Day of Service

The United Way of Washington County is proud to bring back to our community the LIVE UNITED Day of Service to be held on Friday, September 27, 2019. Appreciation is extended to the support of our sponsors, the Lend a Hand Sponsor, DTE Midstream and the Good Neighbor Sponsor, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania.

On this day, employees of six of our Workplace Giving Campaign Partners will be paired up with seven local nonprofit agencies to be united for a day of volunteer service.

The six United Way Workplace Giving Campaign Partners whose employees will be joining in this community effort are: Ametek, Caterpillar, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, DTE Midstream, Washington Financial Bank, and West Penn Power.

The seven nonprofit agencies who will benefit from the collborative volunteer effort on the LIVE UNITED Day of Service are: ARC Human Services, Blueprints, City Mission, Domestic Violence of Southwestern PA, Greater Washington County Food Bank, SPSH Care Center, and The Lemoyne Community Center.
