The United Way of Washington County will be holding its first Play United outreach donation drive on Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 from 10AM to 2PM at its administrative office located behind Huntington Bank at 590 Washington Road. The purpose is to kick off the summer for children of our community and for them to have a fun and safe summer.
The United Way of Washington County has organized this outreach event to help benefit two of its current partner agencies in Washington County. Donations collected will be distributed to the LeMoyne Community Center and CASA for Kids, Inc. The goal of this drive is to not only provide summer items for children served by these two partner agencies but an opportunity to donate to the United Way of Washington County’s Community Impact Fund that provides funding for thirty local programs. Please consider driving by and dropping off outdoor and indoor activity items like bubbles, chalk, balls, puzzles, and books as well as any other new items that you are able to donate that will make a great summer for our community children.
Along with the United Way of Washington County, volunteers of Royal Princess Engagements will generously donate their time and greet everyone that comes by, so make sure to bring the kids and snap a picture! Royal Princess Engagements is a local business owned by Linda Ronto that provides singing, dancing, and smiles for all ages since 2015. The United Way of Washington County recognizes their contribution to its mission and is thankful for their support.
