The United Way of Washington County has organized this Cash Raffle to benefit its Community Impact Fund. Currently, 36 Health and Human Service Programs serving those in need in Washington County receive funding from the UWWC’s Community Impact Fund. The Community Impact Fund has a lengthy grant process that involves bringing together 50 volunteers to serve as panelists who review submitted grant applications. Each grant application is evaluated on its efficiency of operations, financial accountability, and most importantly, its impact within the community.

With the purchase of a raffle ticket not only does one have a chance to win $7,500 but supporters will be joining the United Way of Washington County’s efforts to  help those community members in need achieve their human potential through education, financial stability, and healthy lives.

The mission of the United Way of Washington County is to unite people, organizations, and resources to improve lives in Washington County.  It envisions a community where everyone achieves their human potential through education, financial stability, and health.  For more information about the United Way of Washington County or to make a monetary donation online, please visit its website at http://www.unitedwaywashco.org.
