The United Way of Washington County will hold its annual Campaign Kickoff Golf Outing on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Lone Pine Country Club. The Golf Outing was originally set for August 7, 2020 but because of the pandemic it was rescheduled to October. Now in it’s fourteenth year, the Campaign Kickoff Golf Outing jumpstarts the United Way of Washington County’s annual workplace giving campaign which allows a platform for companies and their employees to fulfill their philanthropic efforts.
The event will bring together individuals to enjoy a day of golf while raising funds for the United Way of Washington County’s Community Impact Fund. This fund provides grants to local human service agencies for specific programming needs in the area of health, education, and financial stability.
The United Way of Washington County recognizes and appreciates the support of our Media Sponsor, Lamar Advertising, our Lunch and Snack Sponsor, Koppers, our Platinum Sponsors, ACF Group, Babst Calland, P.C., Black Diamond Equipment Rental, Globe LLC and the Observer-Reporter, along with a host of others who stepped up to support this main fundraiser.
P. Ann Hrabik, Executive Director of the United Way of Washington County, expressed, “We are grateful for the commitment of our community to support our efforts to raise funds. Only with the support of our fundraising supporters, workplace giving campaign partners and individual donors, are we able to distribute grants to fund programs of local human service agencies in Washington County.”
